This highlight of this period scrimshawed whale’s tooth is the active whaling scene carved onto the face. A three-masted whale ship sits nearby while three of her boats are manned with sailors at the oars, giving chase to a spouting whale. The tooth has a nice age patina along with decorative detail around the base.
