This large clock and barometer matched pair was made by the great luxury clockmaker Chelsea. The cases are made of heavy bronze in the form of ship’s wheels and they are dated through the numbers verso. A very fine set of clocks from this maker of clocks and instruments found in ships of the US Navy to the White House.
